Bigger Body Yoga Club is a steady, kind space for women in bigger bodies who are done with pushing, fixing, or starting over. "What if you could show up in your body exactly as it is today, and trust that it's enough?"

Bigger Body Yoga Club is a place to practise being with your body, rather than working on it.

If you've ever loved yoga in theory but found it hard to stay in relationship with it in real life, you're not alone. Many women in bigger bodies reach a point where they're done with pushing, fixing, or starting over — but they still want to move in ways that support their body, feel steadier and more at ease, and stay connected to themselves without adding another obligation to their life.

This club grew directly out of feedback from women who came through my retreats and workshops. Again and again, they told me they didn't want a dramatic transformation. They wanted something steady, kind, and doable — something that helped them stay connected to themselves once the retreat glow faded.

This isn't about intentionally changing your body. It's about changing how it feels to live in it.

What's included

Small enough to keep. Steady enough to return to.

This is a ten-month container, running September through June. The goal within it stays simple: make time for one class a month. Nothing weekly to keep up with, nothing to fall behind on — just a rhythm your nervous system can learn to trust for the season.

The goal: one class a month

Your monthly class

Each month brings one live class, offered in two formats — and both are open to everyone, every month. There's no pushing you toward one or the other; your body chooses on the day.

  • Chair-based — supported, low-impact, no floor work
  • Floor-based — fuller range of movement, still unhurried
  • Come to one, or both — replays included either way
Weekly · Added bonus

Tranquil Twenty

A signature 20-minute meditation, delivered every week as an added bonus on top of your monthly class, to help you stay close to yourself in the weeks between.

  • Twenty minutes — short enough for a real week
  • Weight-neutral, nervous-system-led guidance
  • Yours to keep and revisit any time

Why practising together matters — even once a month.

Many women in bigger bodies have learned to practise alone, or to stay small in shared spaces. Practising alongside others with similar lived experience can be quietly powerful, even through a screen.

In this space, resting is normalised. Chairs, pauses, and variations are expected, not exceptions. Comparison softens. Even from a distance, there's relief in knowing: I'm not the only one moving this way.

This is nervous-system level learning. The changes often show up quietly — in how you sit, walk, breathe, and make choices off the mat.

i.

Weight-neutral, always — no fixing, no transformation goals, no diet talk.

ii.

Choice-led movement, with chairs, pauses and variations expected, not exceptional.

iii.

Built for real life — one class, one rhythm, room to just show up as you are.

What these classes feel like

Unhurried, and entirely yours.

Unhurried and spacious — never rushed to keep pace.
Grounded in choice, rather than instruction.
Respectful of mixed energy, ability, and capacity.
Supportive without ever being overwhelming.

What embodied practice supports

Your body sets the pace.

When movement is unhurried and responsive, something different becomes possible. Women often tell me they begin to notice more ease in everyday movements, less bracing or pushing through discomfort, a clearer sense of when to move and when to pause, growing trust in their own internal cues, and a softer relationship with effort and rest.

It's about staying connected to yourself — especially when things feel uncertain — all the while working on mobility, stability, and strength.

How to use this space

There is no "right" way to be here.

Come live some months, and use replays others.
Repeat one class, and skip another.
Rest through parts of a class — or a whole class.
Let one practice be enough for the month.

Nothing is sequential. Nothing is compulsory. This space is designed to support listening rather than achieving.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What are the dates & times?

Chair-based yoga is on Wednesday evenings at 8:30pm, for 45 minutes. Floor-based yoga is on Sunday mornings at 9:30am, for 75 minutes. The full season's dates and schedule are on a separate page — CheckIt Out Here.

Do I count as a bigger body?

This is a question for you to answer, really. You don't need to tell me your dress size or "prove" your body is allowed to join the club. This is a diet-culture-free space that welcomes people outside the social norms to practise yoga.

Is this suitable if I haven't practised yoga in a while?

Yes. This space is designed to be re-enterable. You don't need a current or consistent yoga practice to belong here. Beginners are most welcome.

I've had uncomfortable experiences in yoga spaces before — will this be different?

This space is designed specifically for women in bigger bodies. That means no weight-loss framing, no body-shaming language, and no expectation to push or perform. You're invited to move in ways that make sense for you.

What if I can't attend live?

That's completely okay. Replays are included for every class, and many members use a mix of live attendance and replays. There's no hierarchy here — live or replay both count.

Is this suitable if I'm tired, sore, or low on energy?

Yes. Every class is choice-led, with chair-based and floor-based options, plenty of pauses, and ongoing permission to rest. You don't need a certain level of fitness, flexibility, or motivation to take part.

What if I miss a month?

There's nothing to catch up on. This isn't a programme to complete — within the ten months, it's simply a space to return to, whenever you're ready. Replays stay available for the full season either way.

What happens when the ten months end?

The container runs September through June, then closes for the summer. I'll be in touch nearer the end of the season about what's next, and doors typically reopen the following September.

You're invited to move, rest, and learn in a space designed with you in mind.

You don't need to practise more. You don't need to do it better. You don't need to do it alone.
